Artwork for the House of Lords

An opportunity to have work selected for House of Lords!

I have been asked by The Obsidian Art Gallery to submit some paintings to go before the selection committee of the House of Lords.

I am not sure which paintings I will submit yet but they will be landscapes of Buckinghamshire and will need to be ready to go for selection by the end of November 2011.

Entries have to be in by the end if the week and I have settled on 6x paintings – not sure if they are the right choice but will have to wait and see.

I had to take them out of their frames (except one which hadn’t been framed and is so new it is not even in this site yet) it was a bit of a retrograde step but worth it if I am successful.

I am not sure of the timing of the selection committee but I would think they will want to make a decision fairly quickly as they will have a lot of work hanging about – most of which will have to be returned!
