Oxford Art Society Open Exhibition

I entered the Oxford Art Society Open Exhibition 2011 and was lucky to have both my entries accepted.

One of the paintings was of Magdalen College, Oxford shown below.

This year it was held at the Saïd Business School, Oxford and was opened by Lady Moyra Bannister. The Oxford Art Society’s annual open exhibition has a well-earned reputation for high standards of work. And the pieces in this year’s show were no exception. This was a substantial exhibition, comprising the work of 91 artists, each of whom can exhibit up to two hung pieces of work and four unframed pieces.

Didn’t sell anything but I felt it was a really interesting exhibition and will probably enter again next year! Met Colin Dexter and perhaps he will agree to sit for our portrait group next year.
