Something a little different!
Looking at letting the paint and texture take over!
My good friend Jeff Galatin has kindly written the following poem inspired by ‘Little Lake’ but I think I might change the title to:
Nature’s forces scream across
A silent tarn’s watery gloss
Tree roots strain against the wind
Autumn’s left their branches thinned
Few leaves remain with a tenuous hold
Before the coming season paints them gold
The sky vainly fights to retain the day
But it will fail to keep the night at bay
What should have been a tranquil scene
Portrays the elements dark and mean
Untamed this highly unpredictable power
Changes the landscape from hour-to-hour
